1:1 Goldsmith Workshop in Kiel - Create Your Own Sea-Inspired Silver Jewelry
Create your own piece of silver and sea glass jewelry and carry a piece of the ocean with you always. You'll learn the basics of smithing, from soldering to sanding to polishing, and at the end, you'll hold your very own unique piece. Whether you simply want to be creative or learn and deepen the techniques sustainably, you've come to the right place.
What?
In my course, you can choose whether you want to create a ring or a necklace pendant (including chain) with set sea glass. I provide sea glass in various colors, shapes, and sizes. However, you are welcome to bring your own found sea glass to add an even more personal touch. Special requests, such as earrings or more elaborate pieces of jewelry, can be discussed with me in advance to potentially implement them.
How?
During personal 1:1 or 1:2 supervision (if you'd like to come with a friend), you'll learn the basics of working with real silver in approximately 4 hours: cutting, hammering, filing, soldering, sanding, polishing... and create your piece of jewelry in a relaxed atmosphere. There is always room for questions and enough time for detailed explanations of each step or short breaks to catch your breath. The cost is €129 (or €110 per person for 1:2) and all materials are included. At the end of the workshop, I'll give you a list with basic equipment and tips if you want to start smithing at home yourself.
Who?
I'm Charlyne and I started teaching myself the basics of goldsmithing 2 years ago. I'm not a trained goldsmith, but I've learned a lot over the years and am constantly developing. I founded my own brand OCEANGLASSJEWELS in 2024 and became self-employed with it in February 2026, and now I live from it. In my jewelry, I combine my love for creativity with my love for the sea, and I want to pass on exactly this passion to you.
Where?
The course takes place in my own home in my small, equipped workshop and creative corner. The location is central in Kiel; you will receive the exact address when booking my workshop.
