My name is Charlyne, I'm 26 years old, and I'm a self-taught silversmith. I've loved the sea since I was little, and I've been a passionate freediver since I was 15. At the end of 2023, I discovered my love for sea glass and have been collecting treasures on beaches ever since. In 2024, I began learning silversmithing and immortalizing the treasures I find on beaches in high-quality silver jewelry. I primarily use sea glass, but also old shards of pottery or shells. These days, I also make jewelry from broken plates or cutlery. There are no limits to my creativity.
For me, sustainability is particularly important in my jewelry. By collecting and processing sea glass in the form of "beach debris," for example, I create recycled jewelry and simultaneously help clean up nature.
