Light blue sea glass ring in silver, GOLD PLATED / Size 57 (8)

This light blue piece of sea glass has a very special color. I found it on Gran Canaria and lovingly crafted it into a silver ring, which was then professionally gold-plated with real gold. The gold tone really makes the light blue stand out.

The ring is size 57 (US: 8). The ring band is approximately 2 mm wide and the ring was made from 950 and 999 silver and then gold-plated with a 5 µm gold layer. Since this is a handmade piece of jewelry, the ring has no hallmarks and imperfections cannot be excluded. You can find care instructions for the jewelry here: "Care Instructions". However, with gold-plated jewelry, you should be careful not to polish the surface rarely or not at all, as the gold layer can wear off over the years. With good care, it will last a long time, and the material underneath is still very high-quality silver. If it wears out over the years, the gold layer can be easily refreshed by a gold plater.
